All the six people who were aboard the Gulfstream 100 air ambulance have perished at sea as aircraft debris discovered in Nantucket

Search crews have reportedly traced and located a debris field which has been confirmed to be remains from the Canadian Gulfstream 100 aircraft that went missing off the coast of Nantucket.

The Gulfstream G100, C-GRJP, an airplane with 6 persons on board reportedly crashed into the Atlantic Ocean while flying from Bermuda to Boston, on Saturday, the 3rd of October 2026.

Later, reports emerged that the doomed aircraft appeared to be an Air Ambulance on an emergency flight.

All the six people aboard the medical jet perished.

The United States (US) Coast Guard revealed that the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) reported losing contact with the aircraft early Saturday morning.

As time went by, the Air and surface crews launched a rescue mission in search of the aircraft.

According to records and data found online, the C-GRJP is operated by Latitude Air Ambulance, an establishment which provides medical evacuation and repatriation services

The search for the missing Gulfstream 100 continued throughout Saturday and again on Sunday, the 4th of October 2026.

The United States Coast Guard (USCG), assets responding include:

– HC-144 Ocean Sentry airplane crew from AirSta Cape Cod

– HC-130 Hercules crew from AirSta Elizabeth City

– MH-60 Jayhawk helicopter crew from AirSta Cape Cod – 47-foot MLB crew from Station Brant Point

– FRC William Sparling (WPC-1154)

The US Coast Guard is a maritime security, law enforcement, and search-and-rescue branch of the American Armed Forces.

It was previously discovered that the flight was done at 24,000 feet.

According to observers that was quite possible, probably due to a patient’s medical need for a low cabin altitude during flight.

And if that was the case their chances deviating the cells were quite limited.

There were reports that the plane could have possibly hit a Cumulonimbus cloud.

And if they indeed hit the Cumulonimbus, the experts say it was at the worst altitude imaginable.

As it happens, a Cumulonimbus cloud is usually a tall, heavy vertical storm cloud commonly known as a thunderhead.
