Pamba Jiji Extends Contract with Jambo Company

MWANZA: THE Mwanza-based Premier League side,Pamba Jiji FC, have extended a one-year sponsorship contract with Jambo Company, with the club stating that it will continue to strengthen the partnership with the aim of promoting competitiveness and team development.

Speaking today at CCM Kirumba stadium, Pamba Jiji’s Information Officer, Moses William, said the club will continue to work closely with Jambo Company, which has been a key player in the club’s development.

He said the decision to extend the contract aims to ensure that the partnership between the parties continues to be beneficial to the club, especially in strengthening its competitive and administrative activities.

“We will continue to work with Jambo Company, which has been a key player in the club,” he said.

Moses added that Pamba Jiji values the contribution made by stakeholders and sponsors, explaining that the partnership is an important part of the club’s journey in building a strong and competitive team.

Meanwhile, Pamba Jiji Head Coach, Francis Baraza, said he was satisfied with the way his players fought in the Tanzania Mainland Premier League match against Dodoma Jiji, despite failing to win.

Pamba Jiji and Dodoma Jiji drew 1-1 in a match played at the CCM Kirumba stadium in Mwanza.

Baraza said his players struggled to find victory from start to finish, but failed to capitalize on some of the opportunities they had.

“The players have tried to fight from start to finish. We wanted to win, but we got a draw. I am satisfied with the way they played because we still have players who are new to the squad,” he said.

He said despite having new players, the squad has started to show good potential and promised to continue preparing them so that they continue to improve as the season progresses.

The coach also said he was satisfied with the strength of the defense, explaining that his players have started to understand each other and carry out their roles well on the field.

For his part, Dodoma Jiji coach, Mashame Vincent, said the game was good and very competitive, with his team getting several chances that were not used properly.

Mashame said the result should be a lesson for his team, especially in the finishing area, to ensure that the available chances are used well in future games.

“I think the game was good and there was competition. We got a lot of chances, but we failed to take them. We need to work on that area,” he said.
